I was brought in to design a robust task management system and a comprehensive dashboard to centralize daily operations and improve internal accountability — all while ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Power Apps.
The firm was using fragmented tools and manual methods to assign, monitor, and manage employee tasks, which led to inefficiencies, miscommunication, and a lack of visibility over day-to-day operations.
Created wireframes aligned with Power Apps constraints, focusing on:
• Task creation and assignment flows. • A calendar-style scheduler for tasks and deadlines. • A dashboard overview with task status, deadlines, and user performance. Developed prototypes that allowed stakeholders to: • Simulate task assignment, editing, and completion flows. • Navigate a dashboard showing active tasks, overdue actions, and staff activity. • Filter and sort tasks by status, assignee, or priority. The final UI design maintained a balance between Power Apps compatibility and clean, functional UX. Key UI aspects included: • A visually organized task board with clear status indicators. • A high-contrast layout for easy readability across legal teams. • Seamless integration feel within Microsoft’s ecosystem.

Employees can now clearly view and manage their assignments in real time.
The dashboard provides management with performance insights and workload balance.
The design was fully Power Apps compatible, ensuring smooth implementation within the existing IT infrastructure.
The screens that carry the work.

Both legal staff and managers found the system intuitive and time-saving.
WFK Law Firm was impressed with how the tool improved internal transparency and organization.
